Chris is the UK chief storyteller and CEO of the Berkeley Communications Group. He started his career working as a reporter on national and lifestyle media before moving into the world of business journalism.
Chris is a business storytelling director at the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and Tech UK, and is the founder and CEO of the Berkeley Storytelling Academy and the Berkeley Communications Group.
Isabella is a storyteller, story finder and communication scientist with a degree in yodelling. Isabella is also Director at Berkeley Kommunikation with more than eighteen years of professional experience in PR, communications and social media, primarily in the IT/tech environment.
She has worked both in-house and in agencies. In her time at Berkeley, she has been involved in several award-winning and award-nominated campaigns. Isabella specialises in brand storytelling, content creation, media relations, event organisation and feel good management.
With over 16 years of experience in communications, PR and marketing, Alysha’s love and passion for storytelling began in the theatre, where she earned an undergraduate degree and learned how to captivate audiences with the power of a well-told story. She holds a master’s degree in PR and marketing from the University of Denver, and has worked in-house and as an agency consultant, writer and strategist for global and national brands in the finance, energy, healthcare and tech industries.
Alysha is skilled at teasing out and crafting emotionally resonant stories that cut to a brand’s core.
Povel is the Managing Director of Berkeley Communications Australia and Singapore. He has dedicated most of his career to business storytelling and has evangelised the corporate storytelling approach in a multitude of different communications scenarios, both as an external agency consultant and in in-house roles for major global brands.
Povel’s passion for the craft is contagious and he uses a mix of award-winning case studies from his own eclectic career to educate about the core components of the business storytelling process.
