Leaders Romans Group (LRG), a leader in property services, has appointed Berkeley Communications, the storytelling PR agency, as its UK PR agency following a competitive pitch.

Berkeley is tasked with growing awareness of LRG – one of the UK’s fastest-growing and largest property services groups. Founded following the merger of three market-leading property brands – Leaders, Romans and Boyer – along with a steady stream of acquisition activity, LRG is less well known than its individual brands, which are already well-respected within their sectors. The company offers a whole host of property services, from planning to financial services and corporate property management. Over 2,000 employees currently work for the group across its numerous divisions and entities.

The Berkeley team is headed up by Operations Director and Partner Rhiannon Richardson and reports into Kiersty Sims, Group Marketing Director at LRG. The team will implement a campaign to increase brand awareness of the companies that sit within the LRG brand, through storytelling PR and social activity, to ensure it is better known across the industry for the wide scope of services and geographical coverage it offers. An overarching message of trust, integrity, transparency and the importance of utilising local expertise will underpin all communications.

“Though some of LRG’s divisions and companies have benefited from PR support in the past, we are actively committed to supporting the entire brand with Berkeley’s storytelling-driven PR,” commented Kiersty Sims, Group Marketing Director at LRG. “As the property market returns to full strength after a quarter of pandemic-related disruption, we knew it was the right time to appoint an agency to increase the group’s presence in the space. Berkeley Communications proved during the competitive pitch process that they are the agency for us, to help us ensure that we are consistently communicating more effectively with press – and in turn raise awareness of the LRG name,” she concluded.

Lynsey Barry, Managing Director UK at Berkeley Communications, said: “We are hugely proud to have won the LRG account – and of our account team, who worked hard to create a compelling pitch, which was delivered over video in the midst of lockdown. We are excited to be working with the property specialist at what is currently an exciting and pivotal time for the sector,” she concluded.

With the addition of LRG, Berkeley’s stable of clients continues to grow, with existing clients including Kaspersky and the International Diabetes Federation. To find out more about how we can help you boost your PR and marketing efforts, get in touch today.
