In our series of storytelling tips, Berkeley’s chief storyteller, Chris Hewitt, shares his recommendations for ways to make the most of your business story, make copy come alive and connect with your audience. Here, Chris shares the power of the word ‘you’.

Say ‘you’ more.

And less me. Or we.
You is personal. It’s direct. It cuts straight to the heart.
It’s a word that triggers an emotional response because it’s relatable.
It’s human. It speaks to you like no other word can.

‘You’ is the most powerful word in marketing.
